Still Young

They walk by me

Only seeing each other

They drag their feet

In the dirt

Laughter echoes

Through open space

No one else in their world

Finding comfort

In a secluded place

Behind the trunk

Of an old weeping tree

They wrap themselves in

Invisibility

Unaware I can see them

Quick kisses

Gentle shoves

I have watched

My life drifts by

Feeling the hope

 Of two people

Who are still young.
